Los niños de la Escuela Primaria Albert Gutzmann de Berlín (Alemania) han plantado su árbol de Gaia. Es un manzano. 

Todos colaboraron en la plantación del manzano y de esa manera se unen a los demás niños del proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA.

Children of the Primary School Albert Gutzmann from Berlín (Deutchland) have planted their tree of Gaia. It´s an Apple-tree. 

All of them collaborated in the plantation of the Apple-tree and joined to the rest of children of the Project DREAMS OF GAIA.

SuperEcológicos / SuperEcologicals

Un grupo de superhéroes han llegado a Mairena del Aljarafe (España) para ayudar a cuidar el medioambiente y respetar a los demás. Son los SUPERECOLÓGICOS.

Los primeros en convertirse en superhéroes han sido los niños del Colegio El Olivo.

Los niños se han convertido en auténticos superhéroes. Lo principal para un superhéroe es el disfraz que los identifican, por eso el grupo ha empezado a hacerse su propio disfraz, con máscaras de hojas secas, "Brazaletes de poder" hechos con rollos de cartón coloreados, una "mochila propulsora" hecha con botellas recicladas" y una "Armadura anticontaminación" hecha con cajas de cartón dibujadas con el logo de LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA

Cada superhéroe tendrá un poder, por ejemplo, "Superárbol" protegería todos los árboles del planeta, "Megagotita" se comprometió a cuidar de todo el agua del planeta sin contaminarla o "Reciclón" que se encargaría de reciclar todo lo que tocara sus manos.

A group of Superehores has arrived to Mairena del Aljarafe (Spain); their mission: help to take care of the enviroment and respect to the others. They are the SUPERECOLOGICALS!!

The first children to become Superheroes have been the boys and girls of the School "El Olivo".

Those children have become in real Superherores. The most important thing for a Superhero is his/her costume which identify him/her, that´s why the group started to make their own costumes. They used dry leaves to made masks; cardboard rolls for stunning "Bracelets of Power"; a jetpack made using recycling bottles and an "Anticontamination Armor", using cardboard boxes with the logo of DREAMS OF GAIA drew in it.

Each Superhero will have a special power: "Supertree" will protect all

the trees of the planet, "Megadrop" engagement to take care of all the

world´s water, avoiding its contamination; or "Recyclon", who will

recycle everything he could.

La Bombilla Verde / The Green Bulb

Los niños del Colegio Zahara de Tánger (Marruecos) han tenido una idea maravillosa. Ha realizado una actividad que se llama LA BOMBILLA VERDE.
Han reemplazado las antiguas bombillas de su clase por otras de bajo consumo, y con las antiguas han hecho maceteros y han sembrado plantas. De esta forma, le han dado una nueva vida a las antiguas bombillas y ha decorado su clase. ¡ENHORABUENA POR LA IDEA!

The children of the School Zahara de Tangier (Morroco) have had a wonderful idea. They have had an activity called THE GREEN BULB. They have replaced the old bulbs of their classroom, and now it use low power ones. The old bulbs have been used to make planters and they have planted new plants. By this way, they have given a new life to the old bulbs; furthermore, they have decorated their classroom CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR GREAT IDEA!!

El grupo Acción Solidaria de Mairena del Aljarafe (España) ha tenido una sesión intensa.

Primero hicieron una evaluación del proyecto, sus actividades y el trabajo de los educadores. Para ello, en un papel hicieron una serie de círculos concéntricos (como una diana), de forma que la puntuación máxima estaba en el centro. Los resultados puedes verlos en la foto. 

Después, se hicieron juegos cooperativos para fomentar el respeto y la aceptación entre todos. Y, por ultimo, utilizando sus propias manos diseñaron y construyeron unas mariposas de juguete con papel y palos de madera.

The group Acción Solidaria from Mairena del Aljarafe (Spain) has had an intense meeting.

First of all they made an evaluation of the project, its activities and the teacher´s work. For that, they made a number of concentric circles (like a diana) in a paper, where the highest punctuation was in the centre. You could see the results in the picture. 

After that, they do some cooperative games to promote the respect and accptance between all. And, finally, the designed and built some handmade butterfly toys, using papers and wooden sticks.

La Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 1013 de Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) se ha unido a nuestro proyecto. El proyecto Los Sueños de Gaia sigue creciendo.

The Primary School nº 1013 of Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) is joined to our project. DREAMS OF GAIA keeps growing.

Hora del Planeta / Hour of the Planet

El grupo de SUEÑOS DE GAIA de Santa Cruz (Bolivia) estuvo presente en los actos de la "Hora del Planeta" que se organizaron en esta localidad.
De esta forma, se mostró el compromiso del proyecto con la protección y el respeto del medio ambiente.
Nuestros representantes en Bolivia se sumaron a los actos y participaron con mucha ilusión en todos los talleres, marchas y actividades lúdicas del evento.

The group of DREAMS OF GAIA from Santa Cruz (Bolivia) was presented in the events of the "Hour of the Planet" which was organised in this town.
By this way, the engagement of the project with the protection and respect of the enviroment was shown.
Our representatives in Bolivia added up to the events and participated with great hope in all of the workshops, marches and activities of the event.

El Supervisor Técnico Escolar del distrito escolar de Santa Sylvina (Argentina) visitó al grupo que participa en el proyecto Los Sueños de GAIA de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" para conocer como se está trabajando en esta iniciativa dentro del colegio.
Se le explicó que se ha integrado el proyecto dentro del Currículo escolar del centro y, a continuación, los niños y niñas le mostraron lo que habían hecho y le explicaron su visión del proyecto y como trabajaban con otros niños del mundo.
El Supervisor Técnico Escolar les felicitó por el compromiso asumido y la responsabilidad con la que se estaba trabajando. También se comprometió en seguir de cerca el proyecto Los Sueños de Gaia.

The Technical School Supervisor of the School District of Santa Sylvina (Argentina) visited to the group who participates in the project DREAMS OF GAIA of the Primary School nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" to know how they are working on this initiative in the school.
He was explained that the project has been included on the School Curriculum and then, children showed him what they have done andexplained their view of the project and how they work with other children all around the world.
The Technical School Supervisor congratulates them for the engagement they assumed and their responsability. Also, he engaged to follow closely the project DREAMS OF GAIA.

Además, de las actividades y noticias con el medio ambiente y la Naturaleza que ellos mismos han realizado.

Our program, made by boys and girls of DREAMS OF GAIA, present us the different cultures and cities of the participant groups. And all of this have been thinked to children worldwide; moreover, the activities and news with the environment and Nature which are been made by themselves.

Talleres / Workshop

El grupo de SUEÑOS DE GAIA del Centro de Atención integral "Hogar Feliz Teen Chalengue" de Costa Rica, en su taller del 28 de marzo, tuvieron una reunión en la que hablaron los Derechos de los Niños. 

Después, hicieron un taller de reciclaje. Cada niño usó su imaginación para crear un juguete de materiales que iban a ir a la basura, como botellas de plástico, papeles de revistas usadas... de esta forma se le da una nueva vida a cosas que se iban a tirar y ayudamos a cuidar el medioambiente.

The group pf DREAMS OF GAIA of the Attention Centre "Hogar Feliz Teen Chalengue" from Costa Rica, in their workshop of March the 28th, had a meeting and discussed about the Children Rights.

After that, they made a recycling workshop. Each child used his or her imagination to create a toy with materials like plastic bottles, used newspapers... in thus we give new life to things that would be thrown and we help taking care of the environment.

Los niños y niñas del Centro de Educación Infantil y Primaria El Olivo de Mairena del Aljarafe (España) siguen su trabajo en el proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA. Los tres grupos de este colegio están comprometidos con el cuidado de la Naturaleza y el respeto a los demás. El grupo de los más pequeños sigue con sus talleres de reciclaje, en el que hicierons juguetes con material de desecho, como aviones y mariposas, y los más mayores realizan dinámicas de respeto al otro.

Children of El Olivo School from Mairena del Aljarafe (Spain) continue working on DREAMS OF GAIA project. The three groups of this school are working now in activities about respect for Nature and also the acceptance of every person, no matter their country, condition, culture, language or beliefs. They also made toys from recycled material, like airplanes and butterflies.

Los niños del kinder Republica de Colombia de Santa Cruz (Bolivia) realizan dibujos y aprenden la importancia del cuidado que le debemos de dar a nuestro planeta, y preparan el material para participar en el evento de la Hora del Planeta, haciendo mensajes sobre los elementos del logo de nuestro proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA.

Children from Kindergarten "República de Colombia" of Santa Cruz (Bolivia) make drawings and learn how important is to take care of our planet. Also, they are preparing the material to take part in the event of The Hour of the Planet, making messages about the elements of the logo of our project THE DREAMS OF GAIA.

En CHIQUI GAIA hemos aprendido lo importante que es proteger y respetar la Naturaleza, porque de ella obtenemos el alimento para poder vivir. Hemos visto y tocado lentejas, alubias y trigo y hemos jugado con ellos. Después, con la ayuda de una mamá, hemos hecho pan. Cada uno ha hecho su hogaza de pan, se ha cocido en el honor y se lo ha llevado a su casa para compartirlo con su familia.

In LITTLE GAIA we have learned how important is to protect and respect Nature, because we get the food it live from it. We have seen and touched lentils, beans and wheat and we played with them. Alfter that, with the help of a mother, we have made bread. Each one has made his or her own loaf of bread, which was baked in the oven and took it to home to share it with his or her family.

Actividades de Medio Ambiente / Environmental Workshops

SUEÑOS DE GAIA de Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú) en la actividad Taller de Caras Pintadas, trabajó acerca de la idea de lo importante que son los animales para el medio ambiente. Se habló de la riqueza de la fauna de la Amazonia y de que es importante cuidarla. Después, jugaron a pintarse la cara con dibujos de animales. Agradecemos la participación de la profesora Daniela Melón en esta actividad.

DREAMS OF GAIA from Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Peru) on the Activity about Painting Faces, they worked the idea of how relevant are the animals for the environment. They talked about the animals from the Amazonia and that is important to keep it. After that, they painted their faces with pictures of animals. We thank Daniela Melon for her participance on this activity.

Eventos / Events

LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA también estuvo presente en la clausura de los talleres de deporte de verano de Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú). Todas las disciplinas estuvieron apoyando el proyecto. Nuestro agradecimiento a todos los profesores y muy especialmente al profesor Miguel Zapata y a su asistente.

GAIA´s DREAM was also present in the closing of the sport summer´s workshops of Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú). All the disciplines were supporting the project. Our thank to all the professors and specially to the profesor Miguel Zapata and his assistant.

El centro de Atención integral "Hogar Feliz Teen Chalengue" está desarrollando actividades culturales para ir conociendo un poco sobre cada país que está unido al proyecto SUEÑOS DE GAIA.

Esta semana aprenden sobre Bolivia, y los niños hicieron dibujos para enviar a sus amigos de Bolivia, también construyeron un mundo, que sostienen con sus manos, y representa un solo hogar en el que todos debemos asumir su cuido y respeto; ellos dibujaron sus manitas y las recortaron en papel de periódico y cantaron canciones sobre la tierra.

The attention- center "Happy Home Teen Chalengue" is developing cultural activities to know a little about each country which is connected to DREAMS OF GAIA project.

This week they learn about Bolivia, and the children drew pictures to send to their friends in Bolivia, also built a world, holding it in their hands, and represents a single house in which everyone must assume their care and respect; they drew their hands and cut them in newspaper and sang songs about the earth.

Actividades de Medio Ambiente / Environmental Workshops

El 22 de marzo fue el Día Internacional del Agua y los niños de la Escuela infantil MOM de Mairena del Aljarafe (España) hicieron el juego "SOY UNA GOTA DE AGUA". De esta forma, los niños y niñas aprendieron el ciclo del agua. Cada niño tenía una gota de agua pintada en una cartulina azul y después escucharon un cuento, para finalizar hicieron un teatro. Todos empiezan el teatro tendidos en el suelo juntos formando con las gotas de agua un río, después se acercó la profesora con el dibujo de un sol. Entonces, las gotitas se transforman en vapor, y los niños se ponen de pie simulando que vuelan por el aire. Seguidamente se unen todas en una nube. A continuación, dan saltitos porque empieza a llover y caen al suelo y se tienden de nuevo formando el río inicial. ¡Fue muy divertido!

March the 22th was the International Day of Water, and the children of the nursery MOM from Mairena del Aljarafe (España) played the game "I´m a raindrop". With that, children learned the the water cycle. Each child had a raindrop painted in a blue cardboard, and after that, they heared a tale and finally, they played a perform. Everyone start this perform laying down on the floor together forming with the raindrops a river, after that their teacher come up to them with the picture of a sun. Then, the raindrops became in steam, and the children stand up simulating that they fly through the air. Furthermore, all the raindrops join in a cloud. Moreover, children start to jump because it stats to rain and they lay down again, forming the initial river. It was very funny!!

El grupo de la Escuela nº 665 "José Eusebio Columbres" de Santa Sylvina (Argentina) aprovechó su clase de Literatura para leer el cuento "La playa de Pedro" (cuenta sobre un niño que vive a orillas de una playa limpia y pura, pero un día un petrolero tiene un accidente y se derrama todo el petróleo contaminando todo el hábitat de los animales de allí, Pedro ayuda salva algunos animales). Este cuento les permitió abordar el tema del CUIDADO DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE. Finalmente, salieron al patio a trabajar en su jardín. Con la colaboración de un papá trasplantaron plantas y prepararon la tierra para hacer una pequeña huerta para su comedor escolar.

The group of the school nº 665 "José Eusebio Columbres" from Santa Sylvina (Argentina) took its Literature class to read the tale "The Pedro´s beach" (which tells a story about a boy who lives on the edge of a clean and pure beach, but one day a tanker has an accident and all the oil spills polluting the entire habitat of the animals there, Peter helps save some animals). This tale afford him to explore the task of the ENVIRONMENTAL CARE. Finally, the children go out to the backyard of the school to keep on working on their garden. With the collaboration of a father, they transplanted plants and prepared the ground to make a Little grove.

El proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA ha comenzado en la Institución educativa Currulao (Colombia). Las primeras actividades han ido dirigidas a mejorar las condiciones del entorno, a través de charlas, vídeo foros, talleres y actividades explícitas como pintura de murales, carteles en pro del cuidado del medioambiente, y también con campañas de embellecimiento y ornamentación en el colegio.

The project DREAMS OF GAIA started in the Educational Institution from Currulao (Colombia). The first activities were focused to improve the town conditions by video forum, activities like painting murals, and with beauty campaigns at school.

Primera sesión / First Season

En la Institución Educativo San Pedro Claver de Apartadó, Antioquia (Colombia) ha comenzado el proyecto Sueños de GAIA, que inicia su primera actividad con mucha ilusión. Los niños junto a sus padres, se comprometieron a trabajar juntos por un mundo de paz, por un mundo mejor...

THE PROJECT "DREAMS OF GAIA" BEGINS IN COLOMBIA

The project has started in the School "San Pedro Claver" from Apartadó, Antioquia (Colombia). Children and parents have participated in the activities of presentation. 

Respeto a los demás / Respect for Others

El 21 de marzo los niños y niñas de LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA de Mairena del Aljarafe (España) se reunieron con ancianos. El objetivo era promover el respeto. Los niños aprendieron mucho de los mayores. Estos le hablaron de su vida cuando ellos eran niños, de sus costumbres y sus juegos, y los niños dibujaron lo que les contaron los mayores. Más tarde, los niños de LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA se reunieron para reflexionar sobre la experiencia.

On March 21th the children of DREAMS OF GAIA from Mairena del Aljarafe (Spain) met with elders. The aim was to promote respect. The children learned a lot from the elderly. They told them about their life when they were children, their customs and their games, and children drew what the olders told them. Later, children of DREAMS OF GAIA gathered to think about the experience.

SUEÑOS DE GAIA de Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú) estuvo en el colegio "Santa Catalina" de la Urbanización Bruce, para celebrar el Día del Agua con los niños y niñas. Y lo hicieron con juegos, pintacaras de una gota de agua y más actividades. Los niños aprendieron el buen uso del agua, la importancia que tiene para los seres vivos y cómo debemos cuidar este recurso, Se contó con la ayuda de la autoridad nacional del Agua (ANA) y damos las gracias a todo su equipo de trabajadores.

DREAMS OF GAIA from Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú) was in the school "Santa Catalina" of the urbanization Bruce, to celebrate the Day of the Water with children. And they did with games, painting the 

children´s face as a raindrop and more activities. Children learnd about the properly use of the water, the importance that it has to the living and how we should take care this resource. The National Water Authority (ANA) helped in this celebration and we thank all the team of workers.

Semana del Agua / Week of the Water

En Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú) se está celebrando la semana del AGUA del 16 al 22 de marzo, y el proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA, también estuvo presente, con actividades para niños pequeños, rofesores, padres, madres de familia y trabajadores comprometidos en la tarea de sensibilizar en el cuidado de nuestros recursos naturales. 

Se trabajó la importancia de no desperdiciar el RECURSO AGUA, a través de actividades divertidas para niños y niñas, como títeres, cuenta cuentos, muñecos, bailes y juegos. También los niños y niñas pudieron degustar de mucha AGUA, galletas y riquísimos zumos. 

Agradecemos la magnífica presentación del maravilloso show educativo infantil de "EL BAUL EDUCATIVO DE MABY". También agradecer el interés los trabajadores de ANA (Autoridad Nacional del Agua) quienes también se sumarán en breve al proyecto para apoyarlo en su difusión. 

In Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Peru) is being held the week of WATER (16th to 22th March), and the project DREAMS OF GAIA was also presented, with activities for children, teachers, parents and  implicated workers on the issue of sensitization on the care of our natural resources. 

People worked to have aware of do not waste the WATER through funny activities for children, like puppets, storytelling, dances and games. Also children could enjoy much WATER, cookies and delicious juices.

We appreciate the excellent presentation of the wonderful educational children's show "THE EDUCATION OF TRUNK MABY". Also thank the interest of ANA´s workers (National Water Authority) who also will join in the project to support its dissemination.

Gaia TV

El 19 de marzo el grupo del Colegio El Olivo de Mairena del Aljarafe (España) grabó su noticia para el informativo GAIA TV de marzo. Los reporteros antes pasaron a "maquillaje" y después grabaron en las instalaciones del colegio.

On March 19th, children of El Olivo School from Mairena del Aljarafe (Spain) recorded their video for GAIA TV-March. The presenters were made up and, afther that they recorded in the garden of the school.

El grupo de Sueños de Gaia de Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú) ha desarrollado un taller de dibujo y pintura, coordinado por el profesor Maiker Bocanegra, y tras conversar sobre los objetivos del proyecto, se habló de las bellas playas del Perú, muchas de ellas casi vírgenes, y de la obligación que tienen todos los ciudadanos de cuidarlas. Después todo lo hablado se plasmó en bellísimos dibujos que realizaron los niños y niñas. Nuestras felicitaciones al profesor Maiker Bocanegra por su impresionante trabajo.

The group of DREAMS OF GAIA from Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú) has developed a drawing and painting workshop, coordinated by the profesor Maiker Bocanegra, and after talking about the task´s project, they spoke about the beautiful beaches from Perú, most of it nearly virging, and the duty of all the citizens to take care of it. After that, children drew wonderful pictures about this issues. Our congratulations to the profesor Maiker Bocanegra for his spectacular work.
