Felicitación / Congratulation

¡Estamos de enhorabuena!!! Hemos recibido una felicitación a nuestro proyecto desde Argentina. El Supervisor Técnico Escolar de la zona de Santa Sylvina, provincia de Chaco, se adhiere a nuestro proyecto y felicita el trabajo que están realizando nuestros niños como constructores de Paz.

We´ve received a congratulation to our project from Argentina. The Scholar Technical Supervisor from Santa Sylvina, province of Chaco, is joined to our project and congratulates the work our children are doing as peace builders.

Talleres / Workshop

Nuestro grupo de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 665 “José Eusebio Colombres” de Santa Sylvina (Argentina) sigue trabajando.

Por un lado, continúan con sus talleres de Reciclado, fabricando móviles con bandejas de “telgopor”, CD en desuso, papeles de revistas, de galletitas, caramelos o cigarrillos(papeles con brillos metalizados), palitos, hilos...

Por otro lado, en su Taller de Lectura están leyendo leyendas bolivianas, para seguir conociendo cada día un poco más sobre nuestros amigos de los demás países participantes en nuestra iniciativa educativa.

Our group of the Elementary School nº 665 “José Eusebio Colombres” from Santa Sylvina (Argentina) keep working!

On one hand, they carry on their Recycling Workshops, making mobile phones with “telgopor” trays, CD into abeyance, magazine papers, cookies papers, sweets or cigarretes (papers with metallic glitter), sticks, threads...

On the other hand, they read Bolivian legends in their Reading Workshop, to know more about our friends of the participant other countries in our educative initiative everyday.

Plantando el árbol de Gaia / Planting the tree of Gaia

La Escuela de Educación Primaria nº 305 "Hermana Hortensia Coppa" de Santa Sylvina (Argentina), ha plantado su árbol de Gaia en el patio del colegio. Niños y profesores plantaron la flor nacional de Argentina, el Ceibo, y se unieron al resto de sus compañeros del proyecto con este acto simbólico que supone el inicio de sus actividades en LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA.

The Elementary School nº 305 "Hermana Hortensia Coppa" from Santa Sylvina (Argentina) has planted it Gaia Tree in the school yard. Children and teachers planted the Argentina´s National´s flower, the Ceibo, and they joined to the rest of their project mates with this symbolic event which marks the beginning of their activities in DREAMS OF GAIA.

En el grupo de LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 665 “José Eusebio Colombres” siguen cuidando nuestro planeta TIERRA!

Utilizando latas de alimentos, cajas de distintos tamaños y papel de revistas, los niňos construyen lapiceros, floreros y ordenadores de escritorio.

The group of DREAMS OF GAIA from the Elementary School nº665 “José Eusebio Colombres” keeps on taking care our planet!

Using foodstuff´s tins, boxes of different sizes and magazine´s papers, the children have made flower vases and other fantastic things.

Niños y niñas del grupo LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 1013 de santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) continúan sus actividades del proyecto. 

En esta ocasión han hecho logos del proyecto para colgar en su clase con restos de cartulinas que tenían guardadas. 

Boys and girls from the group DREAMS OF GAIA of the Elementary School nº 1013 from Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) keep on with their project´s activities.

In this time they have made logos of the project to hang it in their classrooms; this logos have been made using leftovers of pastelboards that they had in class.

Los niños de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 665 “José Eusebio Colombres” de Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) que trabajan en LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA han aprendido un poco sobre cada país participante en el proyecto.

Sobre un mapa del mundo han situado cada país y después pasaron a trabajar en mapas individuales coloreando los países. A continuación, los más pequeños dibujaron las banderas y los más grandes, además de dibujar las banderas, buscaron más información en diccionarios enciclopédicos, concretamente buscaron la ciudad capital, idioma y fiesta más importante de cada país.

Es una bonita forma de conocernos mejor y de aprender divirtiéndose

The children of the Elementary School nº 665 “José Eusebio Colombres” of Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) who work in the project DREAMS OF GAIA have learned a bit more about each participant country. Using a world map, they have located each country; after that, they began working with individual maps, coloring this countries. Moreover, the youngers drew flags, and the olders, who drew the flags too, looked up more information in encyclopedias, specifically they looked for the capital city, language and most important festival in each country.

It's a nice way to know us better and learn with fun.

Primera sesión / First Season

La Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 1013 de Santa Sylvina ha comenzado sus trabajos en el proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA plantando un árbol en el patio del colegio. 

Profesores y alumnos plantaron este árbol que simboliza la paz y la unión entre todos los grupos participantes en este proyecto internacional.

Simboliza también el compromiso de respeto y cuidado de la naturaleza por parte de los niños y niñas participantes.

El proyecto también se ha presentado a las familias que dieron su apoyo al proyecto.

The Elementary School nº 1013 of Santa Sylvina has begun their work in the project DREAMS OF GAIA planting a tree in the school yard.

Teachers and alumns planted this tree which symbolizes the peace and the joinment between all the participant groups in this international project.

It symbolizes the engagement of the participant children to respect and care of the Nature too. 

The project has also been presented to the families who supported it.

El grupo de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" ha realizado un árbol con hojas de papel reciclado. En sus hojas los alumnos escribieron frases relacionadas con el cuidado del medioambiente. 

Aunque en Argentina están en otoño, el árbol tiene sus hojas tan verdes porque representa la esperanza y el deseo de proteger nuestro hogar: El planeta Tierra. 

También trabajaron con el concepto de las tres R (Reducir, Reutilizar, Reciclar). Para terminar, construyeron juguetes con material reciclable.

The children of the Primary School nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" have made a tree with recycle-paper leaves. In its leaves the children have written sentences related with the enviroment care. Although is autumn in Argentina, the tree´s leaves are green because its represent the hope and the will to look after our home: the Earth.

The children also worked with the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). At the end, they made some toys with recycling materials.

La Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 1013 de Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) se ha unido a nuestro proyecto. El proyecto Los Sueños de Gaia sigue creciendo.

El Supervisor Técnico Escolar del distrito escolar de Santa Sylvina (Argentina) visitó al grupo que participa en el proyecto Los Sueños de GAIA de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" para conocer como se está trabajando en esta iniciativa dentro del colegio.
Se le explicó que se ha integrado el proyecto dentro del Currículo escolar del centro y, a continuación, los niños y niñas le mostraron lo que habían hecho y le explicaron su visión del proyecto y como trabajaban con otros niños del mundo.
El Supervisor Técnico Escolar les felicitó por el compromiso asumido y la responsabilidad con la que se estaba trabajando. También se comprometió en seguir de cerca el proyecto Los Sueños de Gaia.

The Technical School Supervisor of the School District of Santa Sylvina (Argentina) visited to the group who participates in the project DREAMS OF GAIA of the Primary School nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" to know how they are working on this initiative in the school.
He was explained that the project has been included on the School Curriculum and then, children showed him what they have done andexplained their view of the project and how they work with other children all around the world.
The Technical School Supervisor congratulates them for the engagement they assumed and their responsability. Also, he engaged to follow closely the project DREAMS OF GAIA.

El grupo de la Escuela nº 665 "José Eusebio Columbres" de Santa Sylvina (Argentina) aprovechó su clase de Literatura para leer el cuento "La playa de Pedro" (cuenta sobre un niño que vive a orillas de una playa limpia y pura, pero un día un petrolero tiene un accidente y se derrama todo el petróleo contaminando todo el hábitat de los animales de allí, Pedro ayuda salva algunos animales). Este cuento les permitió abordar el tema del CUIDADO DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE. Finalmente, salieron al patio a trabajar en su jardín. Con la colaboración de un papá trasplantaron plantas y prepararon la tierra para hacer una pequeña huerta para su comedor escolar.

The group of the school nº 665 "José Eusebio Columbres" from Santa Sylvina (Argentina) took its Literature class to read the tale "The Pedro´s beach" (which tells a story about a boy who lives on the edge of a clean and pure beach, but one day a tanker has an accident and all the oil spills polluting the entire habitat of the animals there, Peter helps save some animals). This tale afford him to explore the task of the ENVIRONMENTAL CARE. Finally, the children go out to the backyard of the school to keep on working on their garden. With the collaboration of a father, they transplanted plants and prepared the ground to make a Little grove.

El 13 de marzo, los niños de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primara nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" de Santa Sylvina (Argentina) trabajaron con el logo del proyecto. Primero hablaron sobre su significado y después lo dibujaron para hacer una pequeña exposición.

On March 13, the children of the Primary School "José Eusebio Colombres" from Santa Sylvina (Argentina) worked with the logo of the project. First, they talked about their meaning then they drew the logo.

Finally, they made an exhibition of drawings. 

Primera sesión / First Season

El 5 de marzo, la Escuela de Educación Primaria nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" de Santa Sylvina (Argentina) comenzó sus trabajos en el proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA.

Los niños, profesores y padres plantaron el árbol de GAIA en el patio del colegio.

Antes, tuvieron una asamblea en la que la profesora Marcela Rocchia les presentó el proyecto.

Para plantar el árbol, un olivo, un papá hizo el pozo donde se colocó el árbol y entre todos lo fueron cubriendo con tierra, entre risas y buenos deseos pensados en voz alta.

On 5 March, the Primary School "José Eusebio Colombres" from Santa Sylvina (Argentina) starts its work on DREAMS OF GAIA project.
