ACTIVIDAD 1: PLANTAR UN ÁRBOL

PRIMERA SESIÓN: cada profesor presenta a su grupo el proyecto. Además, cada grupo plantará un árbol. Este árbol será el símbolo de nuestro proyecto común. Proponemos que sean un niño y una niña de cada grupo los que lo planten.

Esto se grabará en vídeo y será la primera noticia en nuestro canal de

Youtube GAIA TV.

ACTIVITY 1: PLANT A TREE

For the FIRST MEETING we propose that each teacher present the project to the group. In addition, each group will plant a tree. This tree is the symbol of our common project. The tree must be planted for boys and a girl.

If It s possible, be recorded on video and will be the first news on

our Youtube channel GAIA TV.

ACTIVIDADES DE SENSIBILIZACIÓN CON EL CUIDADO DE LA NATURALEZA E INTRODUCCIÓN AL RECICLAJE

ESCUCHAR MÚSICA CON SONIDOS DE LA NATURALEZA, con los ojos cerrados y, si es posible, reposando y relajados. Después hablamos en grupo de lo que hemos sentido, de qué pensábamos mientras escuchábamos los sonidos o de qué sentiríamos si un día no pudiéramos escucharlos.

CUENTACUENTOS, siempre después de cada cuento es importante que se hable en grupo.

HACER CONTENEDORES DE RECICLAJE, con cajas de cartón o recipientes de plástico, los niños hacen sus propios contenedores de reciclaje para su aula o su casa.

JUGAMOS A RECICLAR, ponemos tres recipientes de reciclaje que hayamos hecho (hay que procurar que tengan la boca grande) y con cartones, papeles, botellas de plástico, etc los lanzamos para que entren dentro, esto se puede hacer individualmente o por equipos. Otra opción es disponer esos cartones y plásticos por el patio y después dar un tiempo para ver quien ha logrado reciclar más.

EL ARBOL SIN HOJAS, en papel continuo se dibuja el contorno de un árbol (pero sin hojas) y entre todos los niños y niñas se colorea el árbol y se le pegan las hojas (estas pueden ser recogidas del parque o recortadas en papeles de colores), así entre todos hacemos que un árbol muerto vuelva a la vida. Para finalizar en grupo hablamos de cómo está mejor el árbol y cómo nos gustan más los árboles, los parques y qué podemos hacer para cuidarlos.

ACTIVITIES CARING ABOUT NATURE AND INTRODUCTION TO RECICLYING

LISTEN TO MUSIC WITH THE SOUNDS OF NATURE with the eyes closed and if it’s possible relaxed. After this, we talk in group about how we felt and what did we think while we were listening to this. We will also discuss about how we will feel if these sound disappears.

STORY TELLER. Always after every story, is very important to talk in group about it.

MAKE RECYCLING BINS, with plastic or cardboard the children will make their own recycling bins for their school or home.

WE PLAY TO RECYCLE, we put three recycle bins made by ourselves and with cardboards, bottles, paper, plastic bottles etc we through them to try to put them inside the bin. This game can be done by teams or individual. Other option is spread all the recycle things through the patio and give them some time to see who is the one who recycled more.

THE TREE WITHOUT LEAVES, the shape of a tree without leaves is drawn in a big piece of paper. The tree has to be colored in by the children and they have to stick the leaves on the tree. The lives could be collected in the park or made with colour paper. With this activity we can make a dead tree return to live. At the end, in groups, we could comment how we like the trees and the parks better and what could we do to look after them.

LA GOTITA VIAJERA

Objetivo: Conocer donde está cada país del proyecto y conocer su bandera y lengua que se habla. Conocer el Ciclo del Agua

Materiales: mapa político mundo (puede ser individual o hacer uno en papel continuo), pegatinas con las banderas de cada país (también se pueden pegar con pegamento de barra), colores.

Animamos a los niños a que se inventen una historia con una gota de agua que viaje de un país a otro. También pueden dibujas la gotita y darle un nombre, pero antes deben saber donde está cada país participante.

El profesor les explica con un mapa donde está cada país, los más chicos pueden colorearlo y pegan su bandera, los más mayores pueden dibujas la bandera dentro del país. También se les dice qué lengua se habla en cada uno de ellos.

Se puede dar una indicación general del cuento que ellos deben completar con sus ideas. Por ejemplo, las líneas generales del cuento son:

“Había una vez una gotita que vivía en un río, pero un día de mucho calor se evaporó y subió hasta una nube, que llevada por los vientos la llevó hasta el país…………….., allí una lluvia la hizo caer de nuevo a un río donde conoció a otra gotita que era de ese país, vivieron una aventura y, de nuevo un día de mucho calor ambas se evaporaron hasta llegar a una nube que las llevó a ……………… (esto ocurre en cada país hasta que al final todas las gotas de cada país se reúnen en una misma nube), al final todas las gotitas viajan juntas en la nube y juntas descienden por la lluvia para juntas regar los campos del mundo y dar nueva vida a las plantas y a los árboles de la Tierra.

THE TRAVELLING RAINDROP

Target: Knowing where is every country of the project. Also, their flags and spoken language. Knowing the water cycle.

Materials: worldwide political map (which can be individual or a big one in continuous paper), stickers of the flags of every country (they can be also glued with glue stick), crayons.

The children are encouraged to make up the tale of a raindrop which travels from one country to another. Moreover, they can draw the raindrop and choose it a name, but first of all they should know where each participating country is.

The teacher explains them with the map where is each country, the younger ones can color it and glue its flag; the olders can draw the flag inside. Also, the children are told which language is spoken in everyone.

A general indication of the tale could be given, and they have to fill in with their ideas. For instance, the outlines of the tale are:

“Once upon a time a raindrop which lives in a river, but a very hot day, the raindrop was evaporated and it went up to a cloud. Wind pushed the cloud and took it to the country of ___________; there, a rain made it fall again to a river where it met another raindrop from this country. The lived an adventure, and again another hot day they were evaporated up to get to other cloud, which took they to ________ (this happens in every country; finally, all the raindrops of the countries meet at the same cloud). A last, all the raindrops travel together in the cloud, and they go down together by the rain to irrigate the world´s harvests, giving new life to the plants and tres from the Earth.
