¿Qué es Los Sueños de Gaia? / What is Dreams of Gaia?

Nuestro Objetivo general es:
Promover en los niños y niñas el respeto por el medio ambiente y el respeto y aceptación de todas personas, sea cual sea su origen, cultura, lengua o creencias.


Objetivos específicos:
1. Animar a que los niños cuiden sus entornos naturales más cercanos.
2. Favorecer la consecución del ODM 7
3. Promover la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente
4. Fomentar la aceptación entre las personas desde el conocimiento mutuo, su realidad y el trabajo compartido.


Metodología:
Partiremos de una metodología activa y participativa en la que los menores serán los creadores de su propio aprendizaje, además de fomentar el dinamismo en las actividades.


Relación general de actividades:
Nuestro proyecto está constituido por una serie de bloques que pertmiten trabajar nuestros objetivos tanto específicos como generales. Estos bloques no son estáticos sino flexibles y permiten ser intercalados unos con otros para una mejor adquisición de los conocimientos. A continuación expondremos los diferentes bloques:

Actividades de conocimiento de la naturaleza: Serán actividades dirigidas a la absorción de rutinas de sostenibilidad del medio ambiente, junto con películas y cuentos como recursos de profundización de los mismos. A su vez en estas actividades se realizará un apartado dedicado al mundo animal, donde se realizarán juegos, grupo de trabajo y pintacaras, todo dedicado a la fauna de nuestro planeta.


Actividades de sensibilización: En este apartado trataremos el tema del cambio climático, el reciclaje y fomentar en los menores una actitud positiva para la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente. También se prepararán actividades orientadas al conocimiento y aceptación del otro, su cultura, costumbres y tradiciones.


Actividades de orientación: En esta fase del proyecto los menores ya estarán dotados de conocimientos sobre el terreno a explorar y se le transmitirá de una forma dinámica y mediante canciones las técnicas de orientación necesarias.


Aventuras y travesuras: Esta será un apartado transversal en el proyecto ya que irá encaminado a la diversión y al dinamismo del mismo, en este los niños utilizarán su entorno natural para hacer juegos, excursiones e incluso acampadas para una nueva forma de ver la naturaleza, no como un ente al que cuidar sino también uno para disfrutar y divertirse.

ENGLISH VERSION


General goal:
Promote in children the respect for their environment and the acceptance of every person whatever their origin, culture, language or beliefs are.


Specific goals:
1. To encourage children to take care of their nearest natural environment.
2. To promote the achievement of MDG 7.
3. To initiate the sustainability of the environment.
4. To develop the acceptance of people from mutual knowledge, reality and job sharing.


Methodology:
We will start from an active and participative methodology where the youth will be the builders of their own learning. Also, we want to develop dynamism on the activities.


General activities of the project:
Our Project is based on some areas which let us work our specific and general goals better. These are not static areas, they are quite flexible in order to be able to mix or change them to achieve better our objectives. The different areas are exposed below:

1.- Activities to know/meet the nature: These activities will be for the assimilation of sustainability routines of the environment. The way of delve into this topic will be by movies and books. At the same time, in these activities there will be a topic about the animal world. Here a lot of different games will be played such as painting faces or group workshops.


2.- Awareness activities: Here we will deal with the climate change, the recycling and the sustainability of the environment. Our aim is to create a positive attitude on the children for these actions. There will also be orientation activities and knowledge of the other participants with the acceptance of their costumes, culture and traditions.


3.- Orientation activities: In this phase of the Project, the children will be already prepared with knowledge about the environment they are going to explore. They will receive a dynamic way of exploring by songs and techniques of orientation.


4.- Adventures and antics: This will be a transversal part of/on the project because it will be made of dynamism and fun activities. Here the children will use their environment in order to make games, excursions or even go camping. With this we will try to show them that the environment is not something just to take care of but to enjoy too.
