LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA, estuvo presente en las actividades que se realizaron por el día de la Tierra en Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú)

La Municipalidad Distrital de Nuevo Chimbote a través del equipo de Ecología y Saneamiento, organizó un FORUM denominado SALVEMOS AL PLANETA, en el auditórium de la Universidad “César Vallejo”. Después, se dio inicio a un pasacalles, donde participaron diversas instituciones educativas y también instituciones comprometidas en esta gran tarea.

DREAMS OF GAIA was present in the activities which were done at the "Day of the Earth" in Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Peru).

The town district of Nuevo Chimbote (through the Ecology and Sanitation team) organised a FORUM called "LET´S SAVE THE PLANET" held in the auditorium of the University "César Vallejo". After that, a parade was begun, where differents educational institutions took part, along with others institutions engaged with this great issue.

En el Día de la Tierra, el grupo de SUEÑOS DE GAIA de Mairena del Aljarafe, Sevilla (España) visitó el Parque natural de Porzuna donde pudieron ver la flora y fauna del Aljarafe Sevillano y aprender lo importante que es cuidar la Naturaleza. Provistos de unos "Cuadernos del Aventurero" recorrieron los caminos del parque y vivieron mil aventuras.

In the "Day of the Earth", the group of DREAMS OF GAIA of Mairena del Aljarafe, Seville (Spain) visited the natural park of Porzuna, where they could see the flora and fauna of the Sevillian Aljarafe; they also learned how necessary is to care the Nature. Using theirs "Adventurer´s notebooks", the children walk through the park and lived countless adventures.

Niños y niñas del grupo LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 1013 de santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) continúan sus actividades del proyecto. 

En esta ocasión han hecho logos del proyecto para colgar en su clase con restos de cartulinas que tenían guardadas. 

Boys and girls from the group DREAMS OF GAIA of the Elementary School nº 1013 from Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) keep on with their project´s activities.

In this time they have made logos of the project to hang it in their classrooms; this logos have been made using leftovers of pastelboards that they had in class. 

Felicitación / Congratulation

Estudiantes del 6º de Secundaria de la Institución Educativa “Republica de Colombia II” de Bolivia, recibieron muy entusiasmados las cartas de felicitación que enviaron desde la coordinación del proyecto en España por la labor realizada de apoyo al proyecto en Bolivia.

Students of 6º of Secondary of the Educational Institution "República de Colombia II" from Bolivia, received very exited the congratulation letters which were sent from the project coordination in Spain due to they support activity to the project in Bolivia.

El grupo de Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Perú) realizó una pasarela de vestidos y otros diseños, hechos con material reciclable, como bolsas de plástico, papel de diferentes texturas y colores, chapas para adornos... de esta forma se fomentó la Reutilización y el Reciclaje.

The group of Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Peru) made a walkway of dresses and other designs, made with recycled materials, like plastic bags, papers of differents textures and colours, plates for decorating... by this way, they promoted the Reuse and the Recycle.

En la Plaza Mayor del Nuevo Chimbote Ancash (Perú), niños y niñas de instituciones educativas de Nivel Inicial, celebraron el Día mundial del Teatro. Y el proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA estuvo con ellos promoviendo el respeto por el medio ambiente. Los niños y las profesoras disfrutaron de las obras de teatro: La gallinita sembradora” y “Los tres cerditos y los lobos”.

Nuestro agradecimiento a la Municipalidad Distrital de Nuevo Chimbote (Sub Gerencia de Educación y Cultura) y a la escuela de Teatro “Sermelito” por su apoyo a estas actividades.

In the Main Square of Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash (Peru), boys and girls of Elementary Educational Institutions celebrated the International Day of the Theatre. And the project DREAMS OF GAIA was present with them, promoting the respect for the Enviroment. 

The children and the teachers enjoyed of the plays: the "Harvest chicken" and "The three pigs and the wolf".

Our thanks to the District Municipality of Nuevo Chimbote (Sub Management of Education and Culture) and to the Theatre School "Sermelito" for their support to those activities.

Los niños de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 665 “José Eusebio Colombres” de Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) que trabajan en LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA han aprendido un poco sobre cada país participante en el proyecto.

Sobre un mapa del mundo han situado cada país y después pasaron a trabajar en mapas individuales coloreando los países. A continuación, los más pequeños dibujaron las banderas y los más grandes, además de dibujar las banderas, buscaron más información en diccionarios enciclopédicos, concretamente buscaron la ciudad capital, idioma y fiesta más importante de cada país.

Es una bonita forma de conocernos mejor y de aprender divirtiéndose

The children of the Elementary School nº 665 “José Eusebio Colombres” of Santa Sylvina, Chaco (Argentina) who work in the project DREAMS OF GAIA have learned a bit more about each participant country. Using a world map, they have located each country; after that, they began working with individual maps, coloring this countries. Moreover, the youngers drew flags, and the olders, who drew the flags too, looked up more information in encyclopedias, specifically they looked for the capital city, language and most important festival in each country.

It's a nice way to know us better and learn with fun.

Primera sesión / First Season

La Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 1013 de Santa Sylvina ha comenzado sus trabajos en el proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA plantando un árbol en el patio del colegio. 

Profesores y alumnos plantaron este árbol que simboliza la paz y la unión entre todos los grupos participantes en este proyecto internacional.

Simboliza también el compromiso de respeto y cuidado de la naturaleza por parte de los niños y niñas participantes.

El proyecto también se ha presentado a las familias que dieron su apoyo al proyecto.

The Elementary School nº 1013 of Santa Sylvina has begun their work in the project DREAMS OF GAIA planting a tree in the school yard.

Teachers and alumns planted this tree which symbolizes the peace and the joinment between all the participant groups in this international project.

It symbolizes the engagement of the participant children to respect and care of the Nature too. 

The project has also been presented to the families who supported it.

El grupo SUEÑOS DE GAIA de la Institución Educativa San Pedro Claver de Apartadó (Colombia) empezaron la construcción del árbol simbólico GAIA en su colegio, con un trabajo cooperativo profesores, niños y madres pintaron el árbol en las paredes del patio y le pegaron hojas.

Al mismo tiempo, decoraron las cajas en las que se reciclarán las tapas de plástico para el cuidado y protección del medio ambiente y para ayudar a los niños con cáncer.

The group DREAMS OF GAIA of th Educational Institution San Pedro Claver from Apartadó (Colombia) began the construction of the symbolical tree GAIA in their school, with a cooperative work of teachers, children and mothers painted the tree in the yard´s walls and they glued leaves on it.

At the same time, they decorated the boxes they made, in which the plastic lids will be recycled, for the care and protection of the Enviroment and to help to the children with cancer.

Los niños y niñas de SUEÑOS DE GAIA del Kinder “República de Colombia” de Bolivia han aprendido sobre las diferentes frutas y verduras, la importancia de consumirlas y de cultivarlas, y se prepararon para comenzar un huerto escolar.

The boys and girls of DREAMS OF GAIA of the Linder "República de Colombia" in Bolivia have learned about the different fruits and vegetables, the importance of eat and cultivate it, and they have been prepared to begin a scholar orchard.

Solidaridad / Solidarity

El grupo de SUEÑOS DE GAIA de la Institución Educativa San Pedro Claver de Apartadó (Colombia) tiene como una de sus actividades principales el reciclado de tapones de plástico que después envían a Estados Unidos para su reciclaje, con el dinero obtenido se pagan tratamientos médicos para niños que sufren cáncer. 

Esta actividad solidaria de nuestro grupo de Apartadó (Colombia) merece ser apoyada por todos. 

The group of DREAMS OF GAIA of the Educational Institution San Pedro Claver from Apartadó (Colombia) have an important and solidarity activity: Recycle plastic plugs.

These plactic plugs are sent to USA and they are sold. With the money paid medical treatments for children with cancer.

This solidarity activity must be supported by all.

El grupo de niños y niñas de LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA-México de la localidad de Oaxaca continúan con sus talleres de reciclado, convirtiendo materiales destinados a la basura en juguetes, dándoles de esta forma una "nueva vida".

Los niños también hicieron contenedores de reciclaje con cajas de cartón y botellas de plástico, que después distribuyeron por las clases de su escuela para animar a los demás niños y niñas a reciclar.

The group of children of DREAMS OF GAIA-Mexico from Oaxaca are going ahead with their recycling workshops, becoming materials which were intended for the trash, in wonderful toys, giving it a "new life". The kids also made recycling containers with cardboard´s boxes and plastic bottles; after that, they distributed them all around the classrooms of their school, in order to encourage to the other children to recycle.

Los niños y niñas del Kinder República de Colombia, en Bolivia, han conocido un poco de los otros países participantes y han enviado estos dibujos a sus compañeros de los otros grupos.

The children of the Kinder Republic of Colombia, in Bolivia, have met a little bit about the other participant countries and they have sent this pictures to their partners of the other groups.

Los niños y niñas de CHIQUI GAIA-España han aprendido un poco de los países que participan en el proyecto.

Se ha organizado en “Rincones de trabajo” y cada rincón estaba dedicado a un país. Las profesoras les han hablado un poco de cada país, su bandera, sus trajes típicos, costumbres…

El objetivo ha sido que conozcan un poco las costumbres y formas de vida de los niños de otros países, porque cuando se conoce a la otra persona abrimos caminos para el entendimiento y la paz.

LITTLE GAIA-SPAIN MEETS OTHER COUNTRIES

The children of LITTLE GAIA have learned a bit about the countries which take part in the project.They have been organized in workshop,and each workshop was dedicated to one of those countries. Their teachers have told them about each country: its flag, its typical costumes, its manners...The task of this has been that they meet something about the manners and lifestyle of the children who live there, because when you meet the other person, you are able to open new paths for the understanding and peace.

El grupo SUEÑOS DE GAIA del Colegio El Olivo continua elaborando los disfraces de superhéroes “Superecológicos”

En esta sesión han hecho unas armaduras con papel reciclado y las han decorado con pintura de dedos.

Además, se han comenzado con las mochilas propulsoras con botellas de refresco, cartón y papel de periódico. En cuanto se pinten estarán listas para volar.

Para terminar, los niños y niñas hicieron unos dibujos dibujándose a ellos mismos como auténticos “superecológicos”, los mayores guardianes del planeta Tierra.

Otro grupo preparó el guión de GAIA TV de abril que se rodará próximamente.

The group DREAMS OF GAIA of the school "El Olivo" keeps on making the costumes for the "Superecological" Superheroes.

In this session they have made the armors with recycled paper, painted with finger paint.

Moreover, the children are also making the jetpacks with bottles, cardboard and old newspapers. Its will be ready to fly when the children paint them.

Finally, the children made some drawings which represents to theirselves dress up as the "Superecologicals", the most important keepers of the Earth.

Other group prepared the GAIA TV´s script of April, which will be film soon.

El grupo de LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA de Costa Rica continua sus trabajos. En esta ocasión han reflexionado sobre las relaciones entre todos los eres del planeta y han llegado a la conclusión que cada ser necesita de otro para sobrevivir.

Después hicieron un repaso al mundo animal e hicieron unos insectos muy coloridos, como mariquitas y escarabajos, con cucharas plásticas desechables y pinturas de agua.

Para finalizar, escribieron cartas a sus amigos del proyecto de Bolivia, país sobre el que habían estado trabajando para conocerlo mejor.

The group of DREAMS OF GAIA from Costa Rica go on with their works. This time they have meditated about the relationship of all the living of the planet, and they have reached that everyone needs to another to

survive.

After that they reviewed the animal world and made a very colourful insects, as beatles or ladybugs, using plastic disposable spoons and water paintings.

Finally, they wrote letters to their friends of the project of Bolivia, a country on which they have been working to know better.

El grupo de la Escuela de Enseñanza Primaria nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" ha realizado un árbol con hojas de papel reciclado. En sus hojas los alumnos escribieron frases relacionadas con el cuidado del medioambiente. 

Aunque en Argentina están en otoño, el árbol tiene sus hojas tan verdes porque representa la esperanza y el deseo de proteger nuestro hogar: El planeta Tierra. 

También trabajaron con el concepto de las tres R (Reducir, Reutilizar, Reciclar). Para terminar, construyeron juguetes con material reciclable.

The children of the Primary School nº 665 "José Eusebio Colombres" have made a tree with recycle-paper leaves. In its leaves the children have written sentences related with the enviroment care. Although is autumn in Argentina, the tree´s leaves are green because its represent the hope and the will to look after our home: the Earth.

The children also worked with the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). At the end, they made some toys with recycling materials.

INNOVAGOGÍA

INNOVAGOGÍA felicita el proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA en una carta enviada al proyecto. En ella dice afirma que esta iniciativa "contribuye al entendimiento entra las personas y fomenta una cultura de paz y no violencia". 

INNOVAGOGÍA es un Colectivo Internacional de carácter interdisciplinario que trabaja en las áreas de la docencia, innovación e investigación educativas. Está integrado por profesionales de la enseñanza de reconocido prestigio, relacionados con el ámbito socio-educativo, muchos de ellos Catedráticos y profesores titulares de Universidad.

INNOVAGOGIA congratulates the project DREAMS OF GAIA by a letter which was sent to the project. It says that this iniciative "contributes to the understanding between people and encourage a culture of peace and non-violence". 

INNOVAGOGIA is an International Collective with an interdisciplinary character which works in the areas of the teaching, innovation and educational research. Is formed by prestigious teaching proffesionals, related to the ambit socio-educational, many of them are teachers and professors of University.

Siguiendo con la idea de transmitir a los niños y niñas lo importante que es cuidar la naturaleza, el 1 de abril las profesoras de la Escuela Infantil MOM de Mairena del Aljarafe (España) les enseñaron que la fruta la cogemos de los árboles y, tras jugar a coger frutas, hicieron entre todos una rica macedonia que, después, se comieron. De esa forma, también dieron la bienvenida a la Primavera. APRENDER JUGANDO ES LA MEJOR MANERA DE QUE LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS INTERIORICEN LO IMPORTANTE QUE ES CUIDAR EN MEDIOAMBIENTE.

Following with the idea of conveying to boys and girls how necessary is look after the nature, in April the 1st the teachers of the nursery MOM from Mairena del Aljarafe (Spain) teached them that the fruit must be taken from the trees. After playing to pick up fruits, they made a delicious fruit salad that they finally ate.By this way they welcome the Spring. LEARNING BY PLAYING IS THE BEST WAY IN ORDER THAT CHILDREN INTERNALIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF LOOKING AFTER THE ENVIROMENT.

Los Sueños de Gaia en la Radio / Dreamsn of Gaia in Radio Program

El 6 de abril el grupo LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA de la Institución Educativa San Pedro Claver de Apartadó (Colombia) presentó el proyecto a través del programa de radio "DESPERTAR EDUCATIVO" del municipio de Apartadó, en la sección "LA SUBDIRECTIVA EN LAS INSTITUCIONES EDUCATIVAS". Agradecemos las facilidades que nos ha dado Ostward Murillo Quintero, quién nos permitió participar en este espacio para que en el mundo entero y especialmente el municipio de Apartadó y Antioquia en Colombia conozcan más sobre el proyecto.

The group of DREAMS OF GAIA of the Educational Institution San Pedro Claver from Apartadó (Colombia) presented the project through the radio programme "EDUCATIONAL AWAKENING" from the township of Apartadó, in the section "THE SUBDIRECTIVE ON EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS", in April the 6th. We thank the facilities that Ostward Murillo Quintero has given us; he allowed us to participate in this space in order to all the world and specially the township of Apartadó and Antioquia in Colombia know more things about the project.

Los niños de la Escuela Primaria Albert Gutzmann de Berlín (Alemania) han plantado su árbol de Gaia. Es un manzano. 

Todos colaboraron en la plantación del manzano y de esa manera se unen a los demás niños del proyecto LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA.

Children of the Primary School Albert Gutzmann from Berlín (Deutchland) have planted their tree of Gaia. It´s an Apple-tree. 

All of them collaborated in the plantation of the Apple-tree and joined to the rest of children of the Project DREAMS OF GAIA.

SuperEcológicos / SuperEcologicals

Un grupo de superhéroes han llegado a Mairena del Aljarafe (España) para ayudar a cuidar el medioambiente y respetar a los demás. Son los SUPERECOLÓGICOS.

Los primeros en convertirse en superhéroes han sido los niños del Colegio El Olivo.

Los niños se han convertido en auténticos superhéroes. Lo principal para un superhéroe es el disfraz que los identifican, por eso el grupo ha empezado a hacerse su propio disfraz, con máscaras de hojas secas, "Brazaletes de poder" hechos con rollos de cartón coloreados, una "mochila propulsora" hecha con botellas recicladas" y una "Armadura anticontaminación" hecha con cajas de cartón dibujadas con el logo de LOS SUEÑOS DE GAIA

Cada superhéroe tendrá un poder, por ejemplo, "Superárbol" protegería todos los árboles del planeta, "Megagotita" se comprometió a cuidar de todo el agua del planeta sin contaminarla o "Reciclón" que se encargaría de reciclar todo lo que tocara sus manos.

A group of Superehores has arrived to Mairena del Aljarafe (Spain); their mission: help to take care of the enviroment and respect to the others. They are the SUPERECOLOGICALS!!

The first children to become Superheroes have been the boys and girls of the School "El Olivo".

Those children have become in real Superherores. The most important thing for a Superhero is his/her costume which identify him/her, that´s why the group started to make their own costumes. They used dry leaves to made masks; cardboard rolls for stunning "Bracelets of Power"; a jetpack made using recycling bottles and an "Anticontamination Armor", using cardboard boxes with the logo of DREAMS OF GAIA drew in it.

Each Superhero will have a special power: "Supertree" will protect all

the trees of the planet, "Megadrop" engagement to take care of all the

world´s water, avoiding its contamination; or "Recyclon", who will

recycle everything he could.

La Bombilla Verde / The Green Bulb

Los niños del Colegio Zahara de Tánger (Marruecos) han tenido una idea maravillosa. Ha realizado una actividad que se llama LA BOMBILLA VERDE.
Han reemplazado las antiguas bombillas de su clase por otras de bajo consumo, y con las antiguas han hecho maceteros y han sembrado plantas. De esta forma, le han dado una nueva vida a las antiguas bombillas y ha decorado su clase. ¡ENHORABUENA POR LA IDEA!

The children of the School Zahara de Tangier (Morroco) have had a wonderful idea. They have had an activity called THE GREEN BULB. They have replaced the old bulbs of their classroom, and now it use low power ones. The old bulbs have been used to make planters and they have planted new plants. By this way, they have given a new life to the old bulbs; furthermore, they have decorated their classroom CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR GREAT IDEA!!

El grupo Acción Solidaria de Mairena del Aljarafe (España) ha tenido una sesión intensa.

Primero hicieron una evaluación del proyecto, sus actividades y el trabajo de los educadores. Para ello, en un papel hicieron una serie de círculos concéntricos (como una diana), de forma que la puntuación máxima estaba en el centro. Los resultados puedes verlos en la foto. 

Después, se hicieron juegos cooperativos para fomentar el respeto y la aceptación entre todos. Y, por ultimo, utilizando sus propias manos diseñaron y construyeron unas mariposas de juguete con papel y palos de madera.

The group Acción Solidaria from Mairena del Aljarafe (Spain) has had an intense meeting.

First of all they made an evaluation of the project, its activities and the teacher´s work. For that, they made a number of concentric circles (like a diana) in a paper, where the highest punctuation was in the centre. You could see the results in the picture. 

After that, they do some cooperative games to promote the respect and accptance between all. And, finally, the designed and built some handmade butterfly toys, using papers and wooden sticks.
